History
Aquatic’s business began in Louisiana, USA over 30 years ago. At the request of a US client, we established an office in Aberdeen in 1976 to provide innovative engineering, construction and personnel services - initially supplying pipe handling frames.
In 1994 we acquired the business of Aberdeen Offshore Services (AOS) which was involved primarily in the area of technical resources for the Marine and Subsea industry. The synergy created by the merger consolidated our position in the UK and overseas.
In July 2006, the acquisition of Aquatic by the Acteon Group added a key new capability to Acteon’s specialist subsea back-of-boat services.
