We have an extensive range of equipment for the installation and spooling of flexible flowlines, umbilicals, cables, wire ropes and coil tubing. Our capability ranges from small winches to 12.3m diameter reels and our AQPR-02G drive system has a 'reel plus product' capacity of 500te, enabling us to provide tailored solutions to all spooling requirements. With our custom built workshop and yard facility we offer complete storage, inspection and management service for spare pipeline and umbilical products and reels.
Aquatic’s engineering team performs a wide range of activities from conceptual studies to detailed analysis work, however, the primary function of the department is to provide technical support for equipment operations and projects. We have operations in both deep and shallow water and provide equipment for both.
We perform a wide range of engineering projects, providing technical support for our Operations and Project teams. We also prepare operational procedures and risk assessments for all our projects, anticipating procurement requirements early on to avoid unnecessary delays for our customers. We regularly design and supply flexible and umbilical lay equipment systems, conceptual study work and prepare detailed procedures for offshore construction works. We also provide a range of offshore support activities for customers as we have extensive experience in a range of offshore activities including rigid and flexible pipe lay and spool tie-in work. We conduct engineering studies from simple pieces of ad-hoc design work, to offshore installation procedures, and extend to full FEED studies on field infrastructure and process optimisation.
