The Aquatic AQPS-02 is a medium sized hydraulic actuated unit for straightening steel pipe and coiled tubing. The system comprises an adjustable three-point roller configuration. The unit is used for various diameters of steel pipe/coiled tubing (up to 4.5” depending on the wall thickness of the product.
The central double roller is adjusted to the correct position for operation (depending on pipe diameter and wall thickness) by functioning two 10Te hydraulic cylinders. The system is multi-functional and can be arranged for spooling off either the top or the bottom of a reel.
The AQPS-02 is a stand-alone unit that requires the ancillary equipment listed below to 'straighten' steel pipe/coiled tubing. The unit can be broken down into components that fit in a standard 20' container.
Notes:
- For straightening steel pipe/coiled tubing the system is to be operated in conjunction with one of the Aquatic supplied powered reel systems and an Aquatic supplied tensioner
- A stern chute/stinger arrangement and guide/recurve unit is also recommended when using this unit
