Chris Brooks has been Aquatic's President since 2007 and is based in our Singapore office. Dedicated to delivering the company's business plan, Chris has accountability for how the business is run, its strategy, results, and as importantly, the health & safety of Aquatic's employees and contractors. His biggest challenges are managing Aquatic's diversity, while growing the business by remaining customer-focused, and leading and developing the people around him.

Chris is driving the Aquatic expansion without compromising the high service levels his teams provide for its traditional customers. He is particularly committed to ensuring that Aquatic’s people are developed sufficiently to enable business change, especially with operations on five continents.

Beyond Aquatic, Chris is an avid sailor, a golfer whose enthusiasm outweighs his ability, a keen chef and enjoys all opportunities to spectate at All Blacks’ games (especially against England).

He has more than 20 years in international roles in several different industries.  For each, the common theme has been developing the right customer solutions. Chris has lived and worked in many different countries: NZ, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, UK; and has led projects worldwide. He has specific marine business development experience in North and South America, Asia, India and Europe.

George Mackintosh has been Aquatic's VP Operations since 2007. Leading operations at Aquatic's Peterhead facility, George's teams are responsible for the design, build and maintenance of all new equipment as well as managing all mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment.

As part of the strategic direction of the business, he is also charged with establishing new equipment facilities in Aquatic’s global markets like Singapore and the Gulf of Mexico in conjunction with locally based colleagues.

George’s diverse role provides a huge amount of satisfaction, particularly regarding the fabricating, testing and operating of new equipment brought to market. His biggest challenges are meeting the demands of Aquatic’s growth by finding new suppliers to assist in the build programme and sourcing new ranges of equipment to support Aquatic’s own portfolio, in order to allow Aquatic to operate at higher tensions and deeper locations.

George’s background is in the marine industry where he spent time as a marine engineer, carrying out engine overhauls, hydraulic fault finding, and vessel “fit outs” from rudder through to high speed drives. And, when not working, he enjoys unwinding over a round of golf, following Formula 1 racing and football, as well as spending time with his sons.
