Phil Spence is Aquatic’s Business Systems Manager.

Phil interacts with every team that makes up Aquatic’s organisation. He relishes the challenge of constantly needing to improve his knowledge of the business and his understanding of client relationships, both internal and external.  He enjoys the opportunities his role gives him to apply his skills in a way that adds value and brings positive change to the business. Phil is currently steering the company towards a successful BSI registration for OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health & Safety Management).

When not working, Phil enjoys spending time in the gym or further afield on the piste.  He’s also a firm rugby devotee (ex-player and coach) and a music fan with eclectic tastes.

Prior to joining Aquatic, Phil first worked in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry, where he held a number of technical/QA positions; for the past ten years he has held various HSEQ consultancy positions, specialising mainly in the Oil and Gas industry.  Phil is a Chartered Biologist and a Chartered Quality Professional with a Science & Management Studies degree.  He is a management systems specialist and an IRCA Registered Lead Assessor for Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems and Quality Management Systems.
